Get ready Android developers, it’s time to get excited! The next Google I/O is coming. Google has officially confirmed the dates and location for the Google I/O 2013. As usual, it will take place at San Francisco’s Moscone West center, and the event is scheduled from May 15 to 17. We don’t know when registration will open, but we are sure Google will announce the registration details in February next year and there’s no word yet on prices for tickets. At last year’s event, the search giant has introduced Nexus 7 and Nexus Q (which is Google Play media player) devices and we were also introduced to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the first time, and Google Glass has also been previewed.
Google has yet to announce what it has in store for Android fans. We are already hearing whispers that Google is cooking up Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie and by considering the past events, we will see this new version of Android OS at next year’s I/O event and of course, they will also reveal the total number of Android activations till that date. Android developers may get some gifts too. Google has gifted Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7 devices during the events in previous years. Google has charged $900 per ticket to get a seat for Google I/O 2012 event.
