The image above is claimed to represent the upcoming Sony Xperia Yuga, a phone that we’ve been hearing about for months now. A couple of new photos of the Xperia Yuga handset have leaked online yesterday. Thanks to mobile-review.com’s Editor-in-Chief Eldar Murtazin. Sony Xperia Yuga is expected to be sporting a 5-inch display with 1080p of resolution. We’ve already heard a lot about this device since its first showed up online and we have a clear idea how it will look when it launches officially. Eldar has presented new photos of the phone, showing off its front and top back sides. The latest leak doesn’t reveal anything new that we didn’t already know about the device.

Eldar has confirmed a couple of new specs of the Xperia Yuga handset. According to him, it will have back glass, which is similar to the Apple iPhone 4/4S and there will be a shutter key on the side of the phone. Here’s a quick rundown of its other specs:

# 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor
# 2GB RAM
# Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean
# 12MP or 13MP rear-facing camera. Some rumors have that it will ship with 16MP shooter
# Unibody enclosure

Eldar also mentioned that the handset will get quite warm when the processor is under load. We’ve heard same things happened for the Google-made LG Nexus 4, and Optimus G handsets which also have the same Snapdragon processor. We are not sure when will it launches and which carrier will carry it in the United States. It could be launched at CES event in early January 2013.
