T-Mobile upgrades to 1900MHz iPhone-friendly HSPA+ Network in 14 new Markets

T-Mobile upgraded its networks in 14 new markets to support faster 4G speeds on iPhone

There is no argument that a mobile carrier is a provider of wireless communication services that owns or controls all the elements necessary to sell and deliver services to the customer including wireless network infrastructure, billing, customer care and more. US wireless carrier T-Mobile is also one of the carriers who has been working hard to serve the customers by introducing more devices and expanding coverage areas in Today’s competitive market.

Today, T-Mobile has upgraded its network in 14 new markets including New York City and Boston to support faster data speeds on the iPhone. It will carry the iPhone next year. It is a good news for T-Mobile users who have been waiting for years for the iPhone to be officially offered and work on their devices’ network. These upgrades will now provide voice and data enhancements, improved signal strength and in-building coverage for customers.

Apart from New York and Boston, T-Mobile has announced other new market areas: Newark, N.J. (and surrounding areas); Springfield, MA; Philadelphia, PA; Detroit, MI (and surrounding areas); Dallas, TX (and surrounding areas); Fort Worth, TX (and surrounding areas); Austin, TX; San Antonio, TX; and Tampa, FL (and surrounding areas).

It is also stated that unlocked iPhone 4S devices running over 4G (HSPA+) on T-Mobile’s 1900MHz spectrum will get 70% faster download speeds than iPhone 4S devices on AT&T’s network.

If you would like to know the full list of T-Mobile markets that will now support the iPhone’s 1900MHz band, head over to T-Mobile’s official website.
