U.S. Cellular Galaxy S III Jelly Bean update LK5

Earlier this week, U.S. Cellular has announced an update to its Samsung Galaxy S III handsets, which bumps the Android OS version up to 4.1.1 from December 21st. Sticking to its promise, the carrier has released the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S III handsets. Base band version also bumps up to R53OUVXALK5. Here’s the list what you will find in latest firmware.

..and many more. According to the reports, we are hearing that Netflix app isn’t working after the update.

U.S. Cellular Galaxy S III owners can download the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update over-the-air and you know the drill. Head into Settings > About Device > Software update to check for the update manually. You can also upgrade the your handset using Samsung’s Simple Upgrade Tool (download it from here) and you will have to connect it to a PC via USB cable.
