Leaked Image Shows Black Samsung Note II in the Works? [Update] No, Fake Photo

samsung Galaxy Note II Black Leak

Samsung Galaxy Note II is currently one of the most successful and hottest Android phones available on the market today. Users are currently restricted to choose between Marble White and Titanium Gray editions of the Note II in the U.S. and the rest of the world. Good news is that more colors for this beast will be coming in the near future. Today, we’ve received some interesting information from a leak suggesting that a black version of Galaxy Note II is in work.

An unannounced Black variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note II appears to be on the way, as a press image of the device has leaked by a Swiss site AndroidSlash. We are not sure if this is real or photoshopped crap, but it’s a good sign to see it in a darker color scheme for the users who don’t want to pick this tablet white or grey colors. If you remember, Samsung has added black, brown, gray and red colors for Galaxy S III after few months of its initial launch in white and blue.

The rumored Galaxy Note II in a traditional black color should sport exactly the same specifications as the currently existed Note II, packing 5.5-inch Super HD AMOLED display with 720p resolution, Samsung’s own Exynos 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, a rear-facing 8MP shooter, S-Pen stylus functionality, NFC operations and more.

For now, there’s no word on a release date of the traditional black version of the Note II, but if the press image is real, things seem pretty much ready to go.

Update: The image is a fake one, darkened or painted using an editor.
