HTC M7 is no stranger when it comes to rumors and leaks. The manufacturer has completed the year 2012 with some of its amazing phones including, HTC One X+, 5-inch HTC Droid DNA/Butterfly, and HTC 8X. It looks like the Chinese manufacturer is planning to launch its first Android handset in early 2013, at CES event in Vegas. Twitter courtesy of @Football4PDA (XDA Developers member) has given us another news about the HTC M7 before its surprising CES debut. The reliable source says that the company will launch at CES 2013 event in next week. In fact, the device was also rumored to make its first appearance at MWC event this year.
The source also says that the device will sport on-screen navigation buttons, instead of physical buttons. HTC M7 appears to be a slightly reworked version of the HTC Butterfly handset. According to the previous leaks, it will sport a 5-inch 1080p HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, a massive 13MP rear-facing camera, a front-facing 2MP HD camera. Other expected features are including 2GB RAM, 32GB of native storage, and 2,300mAh battery. Some rumors also have that it will ship with 4.7-inch display, keeping up the 1080p resolution.
A latest report suggested that HTC is prepping a total of 8 different variations of this mysterious M7 handset. There is no doubt the device will carry all the features that we’d expect from a high-end Android handset this year. Since we are getting closer to event, we might see some more leaks, as well as press renders of the HTC M7 and it won’t be long before we really get an official look at the upcoming HTC offering rather than having to bank on leaks and rumors.
