Bargain-priced Television manufacturer Vizio has confirmed that they will be launching an Android powered tablet & phone, “Via Tablet” and “Via Phone”. The Via phone will be having 4-inch display, 5 Megapixels rear camera and a front side camera. The phone will also be distributed by a cellular carrier–Vizio hasn’t said which one. Via Tablet sports 8-inch high-resolution display, dual cameras, Wi-Fi connectivity only and 3 speakers.
According to sources, both Via Tablet and Via Phone( or at least the tablet) might be running with Android’s ‘blessed’ version Android 2.4/3.0 Honeycomb.Vizio will be providing access to the application store associated with the popular operating system.
Vizio might be announcing the Via Tablet and Via Phone at this week’s Consumer Electronics Show 2011. Vizio says it will be launching 3DTVs to market that start at less than $300. Hang on tight.
