Soon after 5-inch Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL 1080p Android phones unveiling at CES 2013, we started hearing about the possible launching dates for the Xperia Z. Some online retailers are also offering pre-registrations for the Xperia Z and planning to launch it in March. Some sources are also sating that Xperia Z will start hitting the shelves in Europe on February 18th. On the other side, Sony is also planning to launch the Xperia ZL as soon soon as possible.
It looks like Canada is the first major market for the Sony Xperia ZL, which is going to hit very soon. Sony Xperia Canada has already confirmed via its official Twitter account that the Xperia ZL will be coming to Canada. However, the company has refused to reveal the actual release date or the pricing for the Xperia ZL. Also no word on which Canadian wireless carrier will first carry it. We’ll definitely bring you more when we hear it, but it should made available by the end of this quarter.
What kind of specs will the Xpeira ZL have on offer? it comes with a 5-inch Reality display with 1080p resolution, a massive 13MP main camera with Exmor RS sensor, 1.5GHz quad-core processor from Qualcomm, 2MP FF shooter with Exmor R sensor on the front bottom side, 16GB internal storage, 2,360mAh battery, 4G LTE support and ships with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS on the board. Sony promised an update to Android 4.2 build shortly after the handset’s launch.
