A new report claims that ZTE is already working to show off a new flagship smartphone running Google’s Android, the ZTE Nubia Z7.
The report suggests that the ZTE Nubia Z7 will have a 6.3-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. It is also mentioned that the Nubia Z7 will be powered by an 8-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. It isn’t a strange news since back in November last year also, China Times reported that ZTE’s upcoming device, ZTE Apache is expected to come with an 8-core Processor under the hood. The ZTE Apache will have 1080p display, 13MP camera and 4G LTE capability.
It is also claimed that the ZTE Nubia Z7 will be packed with a Mali-T658 GPU, 16MP camera, LTE radio and 4000mAh battery to run the device. Surprisingly, the report added the device will have 128GB of internal storage. Another strange and interesting specification is that the ZTE Nubia Z7 appears to be running Android 5.0 mobile operating system. But you might have already known that Google’s latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS has been running only on a handful of selective devices. Hence, it’s actually too early to discuss Google’s future Android Version, 5.0, expected to be called as Key Lime Pie.
It is still confusing whether the information revealed by the source is 100% sure or not. So, you can take it with a grain of salt. If we find more information regarding this, we’ll be back with more updates to clear your doubts.
