Earlier today, we reported about the “Portico” update rollout for the AT&T connected HTC 8X handset. Another Windows Phone 8 handset being treated to the same OTA software update today is the T-Mobile branded Nokia Lumia 810. This update is software version 1532.5951.1250.1004 and includes fixes for issues related to Bluetooth, devices rebooting, and “being incorrectly routed to tethering up sell pages when browsing.”
The update is also carrying the following features, and additional enhancements to the Lumia 810 handset:
# Persistent Wi-Fi connection
# Wi-Fi hotspot detection
# SMS call reject, SMS Drafts, and ‘Select All’ SMS message with delete option
# Internet Explorer enhancements
# Auto brightness adjustments
# Improved sensitivity and other system settings
The Lumia 810 owners on T-Mobile, who don’t want to wait till the OTA notification hit their handset, can check for it manually by heading into Settings –> Phone Update –> Check for Updates on their device.
