From the recently leaked image of the highly anticipated Samsung’s next flagship, the Galaxy S IV, it is assumed that the device will have on-screen buttons since the handset is without home button. Now, the hot topic is about its announcement.
Although the device wasn’t launched at CES 2013, it was expected to be unveiled at MWC 2013 next month in Barcelona, Spain. But, Samsung Lebanon leaked out a news on Facebook page stating that the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S IV wouldn’t be released before May.
Now, Samsung’s mobile division head JK Shin has revealed that they will unveil their upcoming Galaxy Note 8.0 at MWC but the Galaxy S IV won’t be released during the event. But in another twist, according Asia Economy Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy S IV at a Special Mobile Unpacked event in March.
The design of the handset is reportedly very similar to the design of the Samsung Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Premier. The Galaxy S IV is rumored to sport a 5-inch Full HD AMOLED touchscreen display powered by 8-core Exynos 5 Octa processor running Android 4.2.1 mobile operating system, 2 GB of RAM, a 13 MP rear-facing camera, 2MP front-facing camera and more.
The official specs, pricing, and availability of the device is not yet known. We’ll keep you updated.
