Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S II smartphone bearing model number (GT-I9100G). You can download the update through Samsung KIES or via OTA.
The Samsung Galaxy S II is packed with a 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with 400 X 800 pixel of resolution, measuring 8.44mm thickness, running on a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor, equipped with an 8 megapixel camera on the back side to record 1080p HD video using LED flash, a 2 megapixel camera on the front side and more.
After updating, you will get new additions in Buttery Smooth Performance & Great Stability, Nature UX interface, Samsung’s S Cloud services, improved Camera features, new Lockscreen With Many Customization Options, New Features like Direct Call, Smart Stay and Pop-up Play, New Widgets (From Galaxy S III), 2 Home screen modes and New Notification bar With More Notification Toggles. Users will also get some pre-installed apps – Play Book and Play Movie, Google+ and Google Talk.

Last month, after Samsung announced that it will begin rolling out Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S II in early February, Samsung started to push Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update in Spain for the Galaxy S II (GT-I9100) and the Korean Galaxy S II (SHW-M250K) as well.
