Folks at SamMobile has leaked some screenshots of the pre-release Android 4.1.2 firmware for the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 bearing model number GT-I8160.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is powered by an 800MHz dual-core processor, sporting a 3.8-inch TFT display with 480 X 800 pixels of resolution, equipped with a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera with flash to record 720p HD videos, 768MB RAM, an additional front-facing VGA shooter, 4GB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, 1500mAH battery, Samsung Hub, Samsung ChatON, GPS, GLONASS and more.
Last week, from Samsung Ukrane’s official website, you might have already known that Samsung is planning to roll out Jelly Bean and Ice Cream Sandwich updates for its select smartphones and tablets. Among the devices, the Galaxy Ace 2 was included along with the Samsung Galaxy S Advance GT-I9070, Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100, Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 GT-P6200 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 GT-P7300. The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is expected to be updated to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean on April 23.
Few hours ago, Samsung rolled out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S II (GT-I900G) after rolling out in Spain for the same device.
