Samsung Galaxy Note recieves Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update

Today, Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for its international Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000. You can update to the Jelly Bean through Samsung KIES or via OTA.

After updating, some new features like Project Butter enhancements, Multi Window, improved Samsung keyboard, 2 Home screens mode, Customized notification Panel, new Nature UX interface, Page Buddy, Smart Rotation, Samsung’s own Cloud services, Direct Call, Smart Stay and Pop-up Play, Google Now and more will be accessible to the users.

You can note the Galaxy Note is packed with a dual-core 1.5GHz processor under the hood, 1GB of RAM, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus HD display, 2100mAh battery, a 8-megapixel camera on back to capture 1080p HD video, 2MP camera on front, 16GB on-board storage, a microSD slot for further expanding the storage up to 32GB, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 42Mbps HSPA, S-Pen stylus etc.

Even though Samsung has started rolling out the update, your device might not receive the flavor of Jelly Bean. Currently the update is available only in Hong Kong and Taiwan. But it is expected to be rolled out in other regions very soon.
