Bloomberg claims that the BlackBerry Z10 will be heading to AT&T stores on March 22. The date of announcement has been confirmed by two anonymous personal familiar with the plan. But, it didn’t reveal how much the device will cost in the region.
BlackBerry Z10 smartphone is BlackBerry’s 2013 flagship device which is powered by its brand new mobile operating system Blackberry 10 which was launched by the Canadian mobile manufacturer along with BlackBerry Q10. The BlackBerry Z10 is packed with a 4.2-inch WXGA touchscreen with 1280×768 resolution, 365ppi pixel density, a dual-core Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm clocked at 1.5GHz, accompanied with 2GB of RAM, and more.
For Verizon, there’s no word of availability of the smartphone but it had already announced that the BlackBerry Z10 will be priced at $199.99 on a two-year contract.
In February, from a leaked T-Mobile’s roadmap, it was already confirmed that the carrier will carry a number of 4G LTE handsets including the BlackBerry Z10 on its network starting March 27.
Although several US carriers are preparing to offer both the devices, Sprint will carry only the BlackBerry Q10 instead of BlackBerry Z10.
In UK, Online retailer Clove started offering the BlackBerry Z 10 smartphone. But the interesting thing is the retailer is offering it SIM-free, meaning there is no need to sign a long term contract agreement with any carrier.
