Few hours ago, we reported that Huawei released the Huawei Ascend Mate in China for 2688 Yuan ($432). Now, we have found some leaked images of a device from the manufacturer.
Coming to the technical specs of the device, it is said that the processor is a MediaTek MT6589 SoC with 2GB of RAM. But the Huawei Ascend Mate and the Ascend D2 are powered by quad-core Huawei HiSilicon K3V2 chipset.
The Ascend G700 will be powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. It supports WCDMA and TD-SCDMA networks. Another source has further reported that a hands-on image of the device was obtained from Sina Weibo but now, it has been deleted from it.
As the budget minded G-Series devices never go higher than 2000 Yuan (about $320), the new G700 may also be priced around the same. It may sport 720p display instead of full HD. More specs and availability of the smartphone will be updated as soon as possible.
