The first OxygenOS 13 open beta was released in late August for the OnePlus 10 Pro users to get feedback about the bug reports. So it took a few weeks for OnePlus to bring the stable release now. Finally, a month later, the company started rolling out a public release version of the Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 update for the OnePlus 10 Pro starting today. This is the first handset from the OnePlus flagships to get the Android 13 taste after the OnePlus 10T and it’s rolling out now as a 4.83GB of download.
As you already know, OxygenOS 13 is based on Android 13. The rolling out started in India, North America, and Europe countries. For now, the update is currently rolling out for the OnePlus 10 Pro users who are running OxygenOS 13 Open Beta on their phones. After a few days, if no bugs/big issues are found in the build, it will begin a wider distribution for all the users.
OxygenOS 13-based Android 13 brings a set of new “Aquamorphic Design” theme and animations, a Home screen world clock widget, optimized fonts, optimized illustrations, optimized shelf, large folders to the home screen, optimized Dolby sound effects, more markup tools or screenshot editing and many more security patches and new apps. The below screenshot contains the full changelog of the build.
This is the first major release of OnePlus after it announced the merger of OxygenOS and ColorOS. Users who have already installed it are praising the new build. They are saying the quick settings of OxygenOS 13 look better now and the build is looking solid, fast, fluid, and smooth.
