We just told you that Xiaomi is getting ready to unveil its next generation T series handsets at an event in China. The manufacturer is also supposed to launch the Redmi Tablet at the same event. A few days ago, a marketing image of this table has been posted on Xiaomi Kuwait’s Instagram account.
Today a bunch of official-looking renders of the Redmi Tablet have surfaced, which show the tablet and full specs details are now reported by WinFuture. According to the source, the Redmi Pad tablet comes with a 2K LCD display panel with 90Hz refresh rate, while powered by a Helio chipset.
Specs wise, it sports a 10.6-inch LCD screen with 2000x1200px resolution with refresh rate up to 90Hz and 1500:1 contrast ratio. Under the hood, there will be a MediaTek Helio G99 6nm octa-core processor (2x Cortex-A76 @ 2.2GHz+6x Cortex-A55 @ 2GHz), complimented by a Arm Mali-G57 GPU, and paired up with 3GB/4GB RAM with 64GB/128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage.
For photography and video calls, it comes equipped with dual 8-megapixel cameras, each on front and back side. The source says the front side camera has FocusFrame technology, which can utilize the 105-degree field of view. The Redmi Pad also has quadra speakers, which will be tuned by Dolby Atmos functionality. Connectivity wise, you will get Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, BT 5.1, USB-C port, and it will be fueled by an 8000mAh battery with 18W fast charging speeds capability. The tablet runs on Android 12 based MIUI Pad 13 OS.
The folks over WinFuture claim that the Redmi Pad is expected to release in Graphite Gray, Moonlight Silver and Mint Green models and it is rumored to be priced at 250 Euros (~US$ 239/~INR 19,590). We will know more details about this tablet at October 4 event.
