Google Pixel Watch appears in an early unboxing video

Google’s highly anticipated Pixel Watch has already been essentially leaked in full (by Google itself since Google I/O earlier this year) and we even know about pricing details, vast variety of bands, and we also covered retail box appearing in retail stores. And two days before the Pixel Watch arrive officially, it appeared in an unboxing video on reddit.

So, you might think that it is too early for unboxing Pixel Watch ahead of Google’s hardware event, but here we are.

A Reddit user got his hands on the Pixel Watch its packaging. It comes in a rectangular thick box. We are looking at the Charcoal version here, which is kept screen-side up in the package, and the Active band is already attached to the Pixel Watch and it is wrapped around apiece of a pill shaped cardboard, just like a traditional watch packaging.

He says the watch is slimmer than he was expecting and he also said he was unable to turn on the device as they didn’t want to get caught with the gadget running. But, we get to see up-close views of the first ever Google smartwatch. Google will ship the watch in one size only. This is a DEMO retail box which contains a “Polished Silver Stainless Steel” model with “Charcoal Active band.” With both sizes included in the box:

Small band fits wrists 130-175 mm around.
Large band fits wrists 165-210 mm around.

The box says the OS version is Wear OS 3.5 and the Pixel Watch is manufactured in Vietnam. The USB-C magnetic charging puck is clutched within this packaging. He compared it to a 41mm Apple Watch and it looks pretty good and slim, when held in hand and placed on a wrist. In another news, A “Google News” Telegram channel shared some info that details “what’s in the box” with the Pixel Watch. It will have a wide button, a rotating crown, as well as a microphone and speaker.
