There have been the rumours circling around that Samsung is preparing the successor of its most successful phone Galaxy S. And it is being heard that Samsung is going to unveil it on the name of Galaxy S2 at next month’s Mobile World Congress 2011.
Now a Korean newspaper, etnews, is reporting that ‘Galaxy S2’ name is not confirmed yet and it looks like same as it is in above image. It also listed out some specifications too.
# Dual-Core application processor
# NFC Chip
# 4.3 inches Super AMOLED Plus display screen
# Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS
So successor of the Samsung Galxy S is going to have an ‘NFC chip’, similar to Nexus S and the other specifications are indicating that it might not be dominating the recetly announced phones at CES show 2011, which are Motorola ATRIX 4G, Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, LG Revolution, Motorola DROID Bionic, Samsung Infuse 4G and HTC ThunderBolt and some more.
Anyhow, all these speculations might turn out wrong and other specification might get introduced for this so-called Galaxy S2. Lets wait and see what happens in next month’s MWC in Barcelona, where Samsung will be introducing new dual-core phones and Samsung galaxy Tab versioned tablets for sure.
