Oppo Find X6 Pro camera’s detailed specs just got tipped

Launch day for the Oppo Find X6 Pro seems to be fast approaching — and based on the latest leak, this smartphone will be quite the looker. More details have emerged thanks to a new reliable information from Digital Chat Station on Weibo.

We recently learned that the company will be offering its next flagship with three 50 MP cameras – 50 megapixel primary sensor, a 50 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and another 50 megapixel zoom camera. Today’s leak revealed more details about the handset’s lenses and other features.

The Oppo Find X6 Pro’s camera details are tipped in this report, with a main 50MP camera with Sony IMX989 sesnor that is 1″-type, and it will have a OIS, f/1.8 aperture, 23mm equivalent focal length, and 7 lens. The Xiaomi 12S ultra was launched with the same 1″-type Sony IMX989 sensor. There’s still more to this leak though. The ultra-wide angle shooter’s 50MP sensor in the Find X6 Pro’s is expected to be 1/1.56″ IMX890, which was used by the manufacturer in the Find N2.

Also, DCS asserts that the telephoto lens will feature either Sony IMX766 or Sony IMX890 sensors with the same size with around 3x zoom, and the focal length will be 64mm equivalent. The telephoto sensor will be utilizing OIS capability and will sit behind the f/2.6 lens for capturing macro shots. DCS‘s source was also able to confirm the Find X6 Pro’s front-facing camera will have a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor, which was seen in the Oppo Reno7 series of smartphones.

Remaining specs that have already leaked suggest that the Find X6 Pro will rock a 6.7-inch display, which will be an E6 OLED panel with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. For performance, the device will run on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Joining this chipset will be either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. We also expected to see 12GB of RAM. The device will be powered by a huge 5,000mAh battery pack inside, which should be plenty for most people’s need. The battery can be charged with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging capabilities.

The previous reports suggested that the Oppo Find X6 Pro will be launched in the first quarter of 2023. So it hopefully won’t be long to wait to learn whether these camera sensor details are genuine or not.
