The Reno 9 phones were announced in China in late November with a refreshment over the Reno 8 series. The Chinese brand is already working on the next series, Oppo Reno 10, and we may also see the change of design language. The popular leakster Digital Chat Station posted what’s purported to be a schematic of the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+, which gives us an idea of everything you need to know about the general look of the phone.
As you can in the above image, the alleged Reno 10+ Pro has got a flat screen with punch-hole for housing a front-facing camera. It has got slim bezels. On the back, there is an oval-shaped camera island sitting in the top left corner. A squarish periscope zoom lens can be spotted beneath the top two cameras. It has a total of three cameras – two shooters with standard lenses and one with a periscope on the bottom. The camera module also has a dual-LED flash unit and “Powered by MariSilicon X” branding.
The top bezel of the phone has an earpiece. Volume rocker buttons are positioned on the left side, and the power key has got its spot on the right side of the device.
The Reno 10 Pro+ is tipped to get a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens, and an unspecified periscope camera with 2x optical zoom. On the front, it is expected to pack an OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The device will be powered by a high-performance chipset that is built with TSMC’s N4 process. It is likely to pack a 4,700mAh dual-cell battery. Speculations are rife that the Oppo Reno 10 series will break cover by mid-2023 in China.
The Reno series launch in a span of five-six months. So, based on the previous gen Reno 9 series November launch this year, we expect Oppo Reno 10 series will be hitting the markets by mid-2023 in China.
