As announced by the Chinese smartphone maker, the OnePlus 11 series is set to launch at an event in China on January 4th. Thus, it’ll become one of the first batch of phones to come out with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the latest flagship-class chipset that will likely appear in many more premium Android phones throughout 2023. Apart from the latest Snapdragon Gen 2 chip, the OnePlus 11 is also carrying some groundbreaking exclusive features.
Bionic Vibration Motor
The OnePlus 11 will be the world’s first smartphone to feature the exclusive bionic vibration sensor motor. OnePlus has collaborated with AAC Technologies, and jointly created this concept. OnePlus says this could be the strongest X-axis motor for Android devices at present. They also claim the bionic vibrating motor equipped in the OnePlus 11 is the only motor with a volume more than 600mm3, which is the highest vibration volume, while the rest of the flagships motors are limited with a volume of 360mm3.
OnePlus 11 offers 1.4 steady state vibration/Grms compared against to 1.2 in iPhone 14 Pro, making it 17% better. Start Time is 16ms and the stop time is 12ms, same as the iPhone, and the 77Hz vibration bandwidth in OnePlus 11 is somehow better than the 66Hz in the iPhone, whereas all the other Android flagships have got just 37Hz.
This exclusive motor adopts a new THD low-frequency enhancement algorithm for bringing a better low-frequency vibration effect. This motor uses the latest Android algorithm called full-phase magnetic circuit tech, providing a greater driving force as well as a stronger and crisper vibration using more magnetic source in the motor. It also has the latest Low-Frequency Enhancement Algorithm, which can explore the limit of low-frequency vibration for creating a mixed wave algorithm. That means two vibrations can occur at the same time, delivering a much more real haptic kick.
Game Cloud Computing Private Network
The OnePlus 11 has a new technology called “Game Cloud Computing Private Network.” This technology helps to solve the game experience in a weak network environments (or in a weak Wi-Fi connection), by solving the signal problem outside the phone itself. OnePlus claims that smartphones without this technology have 1764 times of network delay above 110ms; whereas OnePlus 11’s exclusive Game Cloud Computing Private Network has only 10 times of network delay above 110ms. The number of high latency games in weak network environments is reduced by 99.43% to solve the game experience in weak network environments and allow the user to play their games smoothly.
Memory Genetic Reorganization
The “Memory Genetic Reorganization” is claimed to be the industry’s most thorough Android memory bottom layer reconstruction of an Android phones’ memory. This technology changes the Android memory mechanism from the root and completely solves efficiency problems for when the access, recycling and allocation of memory are not enough. It can also save the problems of low-level access efficiency and recovery efficiency. OnePlus 11 can keep up to 44 commonly used apps alive in the background, allowing users to move back and forth between different applications much faster.
The anticipated OnePlus 11 will be having a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 3216x1440px resolution bearing 120Hz refresh rate, and can transmit 1.07 billion colors. It uses the latest combination of LPPDDR5X RAM+UFS 4.0 ROM, and includes a triple camera setup on the rear side to accommodate 50MP, 48MP, and 32MP sensors.
