OnePlus 11 just launched in China – 100W Charging, 50MP Triple Cameras

The Chinese brand finally took the wraps off its new high-end phone. The OnePlus 11 is now launch-ready and super official in China. This next-gen flagship phone will launch in India on February 7th and in the US, UK, and other parts of Europe at some point later this year, we just don’t know when exactly yet.

OnePlus held the event in the China at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT today. It was a livestreamed virtual event, with a replay available on YouTube after the fact.

The OnePlus 11 comes packed in a glass back with a metal frame, and a smart-looking camera module at the rear. Like all the recent Android biggies wearing a top-end suffix in late 2022, there’s a 6.7-inch 2.75D flexible E4 AMOLED display with 2K with resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels (QHD+) and a 120Hz refresh rate. It features True LTPO 3.0 operating mechanism that brings smoothest experience of the screen. This is the first OnePlus phone to support Dolby Vision, bringing incredible brightness, contrast, detail and color. The display can push its brightness level to 900 nits under challenging conditions. Running inside the device is Qualcomm’s latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. This is the same 4nm chipset used in many latest Android flagships, and it touts up to 35% performance gains over the previous generation OnePlus phones.

The main highlight is the OnePlus 11 – its delightful camera is tuned by camera company Hasselblad, and there’s a 50-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX890 sensor, a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with IMX709 sensor, and a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera with IMX581 sensor. Around the front, the phone also trades a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calling. As for camera modes, you get features like Night mode, Ultra Night video, and 8K video recording. The Hasselblad Pro mode lets users capture 12-bit RAW photos with improved dynamic range and improved noise reduction.

Powering the phone is a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. A power adapter will be bundled in the retail box, and using it you can top up the battery to full in less than 25 minutes at a mind-boggling 100W speed, using Oppo’s SuperVOOC wired system. It doesn’t have wireless charging support.
