A couple of months ago in China, Oppo unveiled the premium-segment Reno 9 series composing Oppo Reno 9, 9 Pro, and 9 Pro+ for the Chinese consumers, and it is yet to hit the Indian shores. Previous reports indicated for India launch of that Reno 9 series may happen in Q1, 2023. However, the latest reports are telling Indian version of the Reno 9 series won’t see the light.
A reliable info gathered by 91mobiles is claiming that Oppo will be skipping the Reno 9 series for the Indian markets, but will directly jump to launch the Oppo Reno 10 series.
The prolific tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore says the Reno 10 series is expected to launch in India around the first or second week of February. As of now, we don’t have any concrete information to claim whether the Reno 10 series will be a rebranded version of the Reno 9 series or something entirely new. We recently came through a schematics leak, revealing the alleged design plan for the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ handset.
Anyhow, We guess that the alleged Reno 10 series will be launched as rebranded model in India. To recall, the top-tier Reno 9 Pro+ has got quite good specs, along with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset onboard, while the Reno 9 and Reno 9 Pro launched with Snapdragon 778G, and Dimensity 811-Max chipsets, respectively.
The alleged Oppo Reno 10 series for India will also be launched with Snapdragon 778G, Dimensity 8100, and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Other specs include fast-charging support, up to 120Hz refresh rate, fast charging speeds, capable cameras (including ultrawide, and periscope sensors), and naturally boot the latest Android OS with ColorOS goodies out of the box.
