Just after confirming the launch date of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra phones through a Columbian website, the manufacturer has also revealed the launch date for the Galaxy A series of smartphones – this series brings a fair balance between powerful components and affordable price tags. Samsung recently announced its best-looking affordable Android phone yet, the Galaxy A14. The company is also preparing to announce the two more budget oriented 5G phones -the Galaxy A34 and A54 in the coming days.
Samsung India has put up a dedicated microsite for the forthcoming A series of the Galaxy series, teasing the budget-conscious buyers. The webpage also shows the tagline “Amp your Awesome 5G,” and also says “Get the new Galaxy A and experience 5G the awesome way on 18th Jan 12PM.” That means both the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 will be unveiled on January 18th, 2023, at 12PM.
The Galaxy A34 5G is extremely similar to the Galaxy A33 5G, and it only brings a slightly bigger Super AMOLED display (6.5-inch vs 6.4-inch) with a 90Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. It is rumored to feature the Exynos 1280 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage. It is expected to feature.
The Galaxy A54 5G is rumored to feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, fuelled by Exynos 1380 processor, pairing up with 6/8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB internal storage. On the back, there will be a triple camera setup which could have a 48MP primary OIS camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 13MP selfie camera
On the other side, most of the specifications of the Galaxy A34 5G are still expected to unchanged from its predecessor. Samsung is rumored to keep the same Exynos 1280 processor with upgraded RAM of 6GB/8GB and 128/256 GB internal storage. The camera lineup may get 48MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 32MP selfie camera. On the front, it will sport a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display that can transmit 90Hz refresh rate.
Rest of the features such as in-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB Type-C port, and 25W fast wired charging will be common for both the A34 and A54 phones. We should know more when the phones are finally officially unveiled.
