Realme GT Neo 5 hits Geekbench with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

The Realme GT Neo 5 is expected to debut soon, and a new leak suggests it’ll be powerful enough to compete with the other midrange phones. According to a leaked Geekbench listing, as spotted online, the GT Neo 5 beats the Honor 80 Pro Flat Display version in both single-core and multi-core scores.

The difference between the scores is minimal, and the GT Neo 5 could be a powerful contender. It has managed to score 1279 points in its single core scores and 3902 points in its multi core scores. .

The device was spotted running with an under clocked version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which has a 3.0GHz peak frequency. This is the same processor that will e using in the upcoming OPPO Reno 9 Pro+ and the upcoming OnePlus 11R/Ace 2 handsets. Honor recently launched the 80 Pro flat display version also has the same processor inside. The listing also confirms the GT Neo 5 will feature 16GB of RAM, although the device may also be announced with other RAM version, such as 8GB and 12GB RAM versions. The tested unit was running Android 13 OS onboard, which would be customized with Realme UI 4.0 on top.

Based on the previous reports, the Realme Neo 5 GT will have a 6.7 inch AMOLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution on the front. For photography, it will have a 50 megapixel primary shooter, paired with an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and another 2 megapixel sensor on the back side.

The key selling point of this device will be its 240W fast charging capable wired speeds. This handset will also be launched another version with 150W fast charging capability, and with different chipset onboard. That’s it.
