The Huawei P60 series will be unveiled at a global event in March, and it seems that a clear picture of the Huawei P60 Pro is slowly starting to take shape. As per the latest leak, this phone is expected to be offered with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset onboard.
Weibo has revealed which full specs and a new press render of the Huawei P60 Pro smartphone. As per the leak, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset sits at the helm, but it is limited with 4G LTE capability.
The phone will be equipped with 6.6” OLED display with 1440px resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, as well as 1920Hz PWM high frequency dimming. The phone itself will have an Infrared sensor, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The front camera will use a 32MP sensor.
Inside, the chipset is aided by the latest LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage capabilities. On the rear there’s a triple camera system with a 50 MP main shooter with Sony IMX888 sensor, and a couple of decorative ones – a 50 MP ultra-wide camera with Sony IMX858 sensor, and a 64 MP camera with OmniVision OV64B sensor.
The Huawei P60 Pro has a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging speeds. It runs Android 13 based HarmonyOS 3.0 customizing on top.
It also has Shuagyang, and X-axis motor sensors, while the optical fingerprint sensor is aligned underneath the display. Additionally, it comes with Satellite messaging service, and variable aperture. That means it will shoot at f/3.5 at the shorter end of the focal length – at 18mm and change to f/5.6 at the longer end or at 200mm. Using the next-generation satellite communication, the Huawei P60 Pro owners will be able to send and receive short messages, using the direct satellite network.
