NookColor Honeycomb Port

Earlier this week, Google has official released Android 3.0 Honeycomb SDK Preview and the various developers are started porting it to various devices. This time, the folks over xda-developers chose the popular Android powered e-reader, Barnes & Noble’s NookColor.

The developer is having the plan about improving the graphics acceleration, as well as overall performance during the course of the weekend and he was actually describing it as a “zombie” without any touchscreen or hardware acceleration. Here we’ve got a solid proof that NookColor is compatible with Android 3.0

This is not the suitable build for the end user credentials and lot of functions ae not working. Google is going to release the full fledged source code of Honeycomb at the Google Event on Wednesday. First Honeycomb running device, Motorola Xoom is going to release very soon in the next month, February.
