We’ve been hearing the news about LG’s upcoming G-Slate will feature a 3D display, and some evidence of a 3D-enabled Optimus smartphone has been leaking out in the meantime.
LG has recently sent out the invitations about it’s launching of new smartphone on February 14th and the invitation The invite features an image of an LG Optimus model and is having the slogan as “Into the new dimension.” The expected device would be an Android phone with a glasses-free 3D display that might come with an Nvidia Tegra 2 3D chip. Folks over the Phandroid got the first image of an unknown LG handset, which is supposed to be LG Optimus 3D or not. There’s a large screen which at a glance looks like it’s around 4-inches. It looks very similar to the Optimus 2X from the front, but the lower bezel and earpiece are slightly different.
Predicted specifications of LG Optimus 3D:
# Dual Core Processor & Multi-channel RAM.
# 4.3 inches of display screen.
# Front facing camera by predicting the above image.
Anyhow, the big official announcement of LG, about the Optimus 3D will be made at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Let’s wait and see if the same above phone will be announcing at the event.
