The HP Pre 3 comes with an improvement over the previous models and more enhancements, equipped with a portrait QWERTY-slider, processor clocking at 1.4GHz speed (world’s first phone to use 1.4GHz CPU).
HP Pre 3 running with WebOS 2.2 on a 3.6-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixel resolution and gesture area, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording capabilities, an additional front-facing VGA camera for video-calling, Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 +ERD, 8GB or 16GB internal storage options, 512MB RAM, HP Touchstone and a 1,230 mAh battery.
The HP Pre 3 GSM/HSPA+ version will sport MSM8255 chipset while the CDMA Rev.A version wills port MSM8655 chipset. It comes with high-performance browser with full access to the web, including support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1 beta for access to rich, Flash-based web content
