Verizon Wireless officially announced an updated version of V Cast music app for its Android devices. V CAST music app combines all of its music-related V CAST services, allowing users to buy full tracks, ringtones and ringback tones from a single program. The music bought will be DRM (digital rights management) free and all three types of items may be purchased separately or in one bundle.
Full song purchases will range in price from $0.69 to $1.29, ringback tones are higher at $1.99, and ringtones are at $2.99. The new version of V CAST Music available at free of cost and it requires Android 2.1 (Eclair) or later and have a data plan, and the existing users will receive on-device prompts when the new version of the app is available for download.
Verizon Wireless will also be offering Jukebox programs that will rotate the ringback tones that callers hear and comes with a recommendation button, lets the users to send recommendations to friends. Transferring the music is very easy – the purchased songs can be transfer from your phone to your computer with the V Cast Media Manager.
