Rumors started circling since Tuesday about the upcoming next generation iPad, that Apple will be holding a media event on March 2nd, to unveil the iPad 2. The rumors were confirmed by Apple officially. Apple has begun sending out press invites for the event. The event, scheduled for 10:00AM PT, at the Yerba Buena Center in California. This is the same venue Apple has used to introduce a number of products in recent years.
The invitation simply teases its recipients to “come see what 2011 will be the year of.” Tablets are the new craze now.
The Rumored Specifications Of iPad 2 are:
# Buttonless iPad.
# Larger screen or the same screen size and similar resolution of the iPad.
# Front-facing and rear facing cameras.
# Dual-core processor.
# NFC integration.
# 512MB of RAM.
So get set for the iPad 2 on March 2.
