Amazon Appstore For Android To Go Live Soon; App listings With Price Tags Leaked

Amazon Appstore Price Leaks

It seems Amazon will be unveiling its Appstore for Android OS running devices very soon. A guy over the Android.de has able to access the hidden URL (Amazon.com/apps) of the Amazon Appstore. Anyhow, the URL isn’t working at present.

The hidden URL access has revealed a bunch of the 48 titles in the reader’s catalog, and it appeared neither finished nor functional at that time. When he tried to click on the product listings, he was redirected to the Amazon’s home page. But interestingly, the app listings are having price tags and they’re different from the Android Market. We can see the apps Scan2PDF, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Force Recon EasyTether and Space War HD, and etc from the revealed screenshots.

Recently, Rovio, the developer of the successful Angry Birds franchise, announced that its upcoming Android title Angry Birds Rio for Android will launch exclusively in the Amazon Appstore in the next couple of weeks. So we can say that the Amazon Appstore must be nearing mop up, and the page will be live very soon.

Android.de is having the screenshots of the App listings with price tags.
