Nokia has just announced another candybar handset out of its company, Nokia C6-01, aiming to attract to its next big platform, Symbian^3 OS. The Nokia C6-01 is the cheapest affordable smartphone featuring an 8 Mpix camera and a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen with all-new same ClearBlack Display (CBD) technology touted to deliver better outdoor visibility as the other two higher models Nokia C7 & Nokia E7 launched along with it. C6-01 is a slight upgraded version of the Nokia C6.
The most outstanding feature of the Nokia C6-01 is its 8MP camera with autofocus which packs the same feature as the bigger and more expensive Nokia C7. It comes with dual-LED flash, 720p HD video recording at 25fps, face detection and Geotagging. There is also a front VGA camera for video-calling.
The Nokia C6-00 also features compact design with stainless steel covers, micro USB, USB on-the-go, 3G, HSDPA, WI-FI 802.11 b/g/n, ARM 11 680 MHz processor with 3D Graphics HW accelerator, 256 MB RAM, 2GB in-built storage & micro SD slot support for 32GB expansion.

The phone runs on ARM 11 680 MHz processor and it has 2D/3D Graphics HW Accelerator with OpenVG1.1 and OpenGL ES 2.0 support. The Nokia C6-01 will support microSD up to 32GB and capture HD video in 720p.

The price & Release date of Nokia C6-01 has not been announced yet officially.
Nokia C6-01 will be available in black and white colors before the end of year 2010 and the expected price of Nokia C6-01 in India would be around Rs.17,500. The US & worldwide expected price of Nokia C6-01 is $350.
