Acer Iconia Tab A501 runs with Android 3.0 Honeycomb flavoured with Acer UI 4.5, sporting a 10 inches LCD capacitive full touch display with 1280 X 800 pixels of resolution that uses a viewing angle of 80 degrees, processing on a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GPU with Flash 10.1 support for a complete Web browsing experience, equipped with 5 megapixels camera, 2Megapixels front-facing camera to make video calls, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 16GB internal storage, micro-SD card slot for up to 32GB internal memory, 1080p video output over the built-in HDMI port, Dolby Mobile sound, 3G, 802.11 Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi connectivity, mini-USB and full-sized USB port.
The tablet’s home screen can be divided into four sections: Videos and Photos, Games, E-books and Magazines, Music. It comes pre-loaded with SocialJogger app, ‘clear.fi’, app – lets you share photos, videos and music across your networks and with other Acer devices.
