Various tech blogs have been confirmed that AT&T will enable the HSUPA radio on the Motorola Atrix 4G and the HTC Inspire 4G handsets in the coming month, April through a software update. These two recently launched phones came out with HSUPA disabled out of the box and the owners of the Atrix and Inspire have been disappointed about the lack of ‘4G’ (HSPA+) compatibility.
A few days back, AT&T’s HTC Inspire 4G gets FCC permission to enable HSUPA and AT&T’s Facebook page also confirmed that the both aforementioned devices will het HSUPA radios for sure in April. HSUPA radio should dramatically increase upload speeds on the handsets up to 5.76 Mbps.
AT&T has also confirmed that the upcoming Samsung Infuse 4Gs will ship with the HSUPA radio enabled, so you should get faster upload speeds right on the shelf, and factors such as location, network capacity and etc, will affect the data speeds.can have an impact as well.
