Hold on Motorola Droid X users. It is being rumored that Motorola will start rolling out the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the Droid X handsets starting at midnight this Sunday and the new version will bring the refreshed Blur interface. Sources are suggesting that the current build of Gingerbread for the phone is stable and it’s now just up to Verizon and Motorola to decide when to release the Gingerbread build for Droid X.
The Gingerbread update will be received by business clients first and all the users will be getting the general roll-out for the rest of the week. There is no official confirmation from Verizon or Motorola regarding the Gingerbread update for Droid X handset.
