Last week, we’ve seen an internal equipment guide revealing the launch date of the Verizon connected Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot SCH-LC11 as March 31st. But the device is already available for sale from Verizon for $99.99 on contract after a $50 online instant discount. It is the carrier’s first dedicated hotspot.
With the help of the Samsung Mobile Hotspot, Verizon customers can enjoy access to the carrier’s network with 1x, EV-DO Rev. A, and LTE compatibility on Wi-Fi-enabled devices that do not include 3G/4G capabilities. Its mobile access point supports a number of up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices at the same time, lets them to connect to one of the two wireless broadband networks the company operates and customers should expect download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps, and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps.
