Motorola Xoom is the first Android Honeycomb powered tablet, which has been released in the U.S. by Verizon Wireless. Owners of the Motorola Xoom will be happy to find that Verizon has decided to address some of the issues discovered since the tablet’s launch, back in February, this year. Verizon Wireless has announced that there is a new firmware update HMJ07B for the Motorola Xoom tablet starting to roll out from today, which brings a few enhancements and a bunch of bug fixes to the device including Bluetooth support on Google Talk and for a mouse, a new picture transfer protocol, and proxy support.
As soon as the update is installed users will experience the following improvements:
# Users can access the Wi-Fi networks and stay connected with the help of proxy support.
# Supports SSL data transfer with websites.
# Bluetooth support in Google Talk.
# Bluetooth Mouse support and a shortcut key for Bluetooth keyboard.

Users of the Motorola Xoom will be alerted that a new firmware update is available on their tablets. To receive the update users will have to go to Menu –> Settings –> About Tablet and tap on the System updates option and select Install Now –> Restart.
