Finally Samsung has officially announced the launching date of its first most awaited tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab in UK. Samsung Galaxy Tab powered by latest Android 2.2 OS Froyo is releasing on November 1st of 2010 in UK. This device will be a tough competitor to Apple’s iPad and BlackBerry’s new PlayBook which is also getting ready to hit the markets.

Samsung Galaxy Tab features 7” TFT Capacitive touch screen(1024×600 pixels), 512MB RAM, PowerVR SGX540 graphics, rear camera with 3.15 MP(2048×1536) pixels with autofocus & LED flash, front camera with VGA 1.3MP, 3G HSPA connectivity, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 3.0 and 16GB or 32GB storage, with both models allowing for a further 32GB memory expansion via the microSD card slot.
While the front-facing camera allows face-to-face video telephony over 3G, the rear-facing camera captures still images and video that you can edit, upload and share.
Price & Availability
The Samsung Galaxy Tablet may costs around $500. Some sources say that it will cost between $200 and $400 on contract basis. It is already available for pre-order at amazon for £599.99(16 GB).
As i said earlier it will release on Nov 1st this year in UK on all mobile wireless carriers. Samsung Galaxy Tab also can be expected that it might be launched in other European markets before November 1st.
