Sony Ericsson will be launching a series of new devices if the recently spotted NenaMark1 results about one of its upcoming phone are any hint. NenaMark, popular Android benchmark for hardware accelerated graphics has recently showed up a benchmark results for a newly submitted phone, called ‘Azusa’. If you remember, NenaMark earlier provided the first information about the Motorola Droid X2 for Verizon. The newly showed results of the phone are bearing the brand name to be SEMC (Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications). The phone features a large touchscreen display with FWVGA 858 x 480 pixels resolution. Coming to the processor, it will feature a Qualcomm Adreno 205 GPU like Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and might feature a 1GHs Snapdragon processor on board.
The phone runs on Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread version and according to folks over at Pocketnow, the device might be Sony Ericsson Xperia Acro, Japanese version of the Xperia Arc. The benchmark results of this upcoming Sony Ericsson Azusa phone are on part with the Xperia Arc (score of 45.20 min, avg and max) which also add weight to the above said point.
No other details have been heard about Azusa as of now. Hopefully we will get some official information from Sony Ericsson in future.
