Late yesterday, we told you about T-Mobile’s upcoming HTC Sensation 4G’s plausible $199 price tag and we were expecting that it might be releasing on June 12th, 2011, according to snapshot taken by a Target tipster, but we were not very sure that it could be the official release date, as this date happens to be a Sunday, which isn’t usually a day that T-Mobile launches its new phones. Now the folks over TMo News have manages to get a new source, which is revealing that the much rumored “June 8th” (Wednesday) is going to be confirmed as official release date. Target might begin offering the Sensation 4G from June 12th, Sunday.
We’ve been hearing that June 8th will be the release date, since we came through the HTC sponsored advertisement, which is clearly stating “On 6/8,” and the handset’s press image (released during the announcement) also showing the same tip (see the above image). So for the moment June 8th is most likely going to be the Sensation’s launch date.
HTC Sensation is formerly known as HTC Pyramid. Specs wise, Sensation 4G runs on Andrid 2.3 Gingerbread OS, and it is having 4.3″ qHD display, HTC Sense UI 3.0, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front facing camera, 1080p HD video recording, HSPA+ connectivity with 14.4Mbps download speeds, 768MB RAM, and powered 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
