A few days ago, an Android powered mid-range spec’d Samsung Exhibit 4G’s details and images have emerged online. It is also known as Samsung ‘Hawk’. According to a well trusted source, this handset is going to launch on June 8th.
It looks like HTC Sensation 4G isn’t the only device to hit the T-Mobile on June 8th. According a leaked screenshot (pictured above), the unannounced Samsung Exhibit 4G is also hitting T-Mobile shelves on the same date, Wednesday. Dealer price is set at $325. We guess that an affordable $150 is going to be its price tag after a $50 mail in rebate (or else it could be $99 after MIR).
Specs wise, Exhibit 4G is expected to run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, sporting a 3.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, featuring a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, and has both front and rear cameras. The one on the back is going to be 3 megapixels along with LED flash (previous rumors suggested a 5MP camera though), VGA front-facing camera. The device is also HSPA+ capable – to reach speeds exceeding 21mbps.
Samsung has planned a press event for May 24. Hopefully, Sammy might be announcing this Android at this event.
Update: We’re just hearing that the Samsung’s event has been postponed to a ‘later date’.
