This year’s highly-anticipated device, the Samsung Galaxy S II has launched in some territories only, and it is yet to launch in many countries, including the U.S. too. But this handset is already getting new firmware updates. It’s a good sign that Samsung is committed to provide great support to its customers by releasing the new firmware update quickly in a short time. We’ve already reported that it has got two firmware updates, and now Samsung has released another firmware update again – i9100XWKE7 through Samsung’s Kies application. The bad news is that this version is not bringing any new features or any worth noting changes.
Users should have already upgraded to previous KE2 to get this KE7 update. After installing this update KE7, the update should resolve some issues and here are some minor changes, according to the XDA members:
# Samsung Apps will be updated.
# More free RAM on bootup.
# RAM useable up to 837M; 5MB more RAM for use.
# The pink spot problem of camera has been resolved.
# Improved image quality of camera, and bettered zoom panel.
# Battery life seems longer now and the handset seems speedier.
# Picture for background adjustments has changed.
The release status of Samsung Galaxy S II handset in the U.S. is still mysterious to us. It is set to launch in the U.S. on three different names for different carriers.
