Just a few hours ago, we told you that the HTC Merge would be hitting the U.S Cellular in the U.S. on May 31st. Now some press shot images of the HTC Merge handset have emerged online. But the U.S. Cellular branded HTC Merge images are slightly varying in the design with the Verizon branded HTC Merge handset at the bottom side of the phone. Check out the images after the break.
The QWERTY-slider, HTC Merge comes with Android 2.2 Froyo, skinned with HTC Sense UI customizations, 800MHz processor, full QWERTY keyboard, sporting a 3.8-inch touch display, equipped with a 5MP camera with 720p HD video capture capability, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA functionality, micro-SD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, powered by 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery, Android Market and a full host of Google and Alltel services. HTC Merge handset is having both the CDMA and GSM network connectivity capabilities.

The phone will be available to purchase with a price tag of $249.99 before a $100 mail in rebate and the takers need to sign a two-year contract with U.S. Cellular. Alltel is currently selling this handset with a price tag of $129.99 on a two year contract.
