We are waiting for Windows Phone 7 powered Nokia handset. But it seems Nokia hasn’t stopped making low-end spec’d phones yet. Nokia took the wraps off its latest cheaper mobile phone, called Nokia X1-01, which is having dual-SIM and dual-Standby capabilities. Nokia X1-01 is an iteration over the music-centric mobile phone Nokia X1-00. Along with the dual-SIM capability, Nokia X1-01 offers long battery life, music features and messaging functionality.
Nokia X1-01 runs with Series 30 operating system. Nokia X1-01’s Dual-Standby capability lets the users to get notifications of calls and messages on both SIM cards simultaneously. Nokia X1-01 is said to remember settings of up to 5 SIM cards.
Nokia X1-01 is having a huge speaker grill on the back side of the phone, which can deliver up to 106 phon. According to Nokia, this X1-01 has got the loudest and clearest speaker Nokia has ever produced. Nokia X1-01 is also having FM radio, MP3 music player, with keys dedicated to music on the side, 3.5mm headset jack, and flashlight on the top side of the device. Nokia X1-01 comes with the support of micro-SD card slot for 16GB memory expansion, and it offers prominent battery life with up to 43 days of standby time, 13 hours of talk time and 36 hours of continuous audio playback.
Price & Availability
The Nokia X1-01 phone will cost €34 (approx. $48) without any contract and there is no word on exact release date of this phone. We expect it to release in this quarter in India, China, Eurasia, South-East Asia/Pacific region, the Middle East, Africa, and Brazil. Check out the more images after the break.
