Along with the announcement of Nokia X1-01, the Finnish company has also announced that it has started shipping the Nokia C2-00 mobile phone, which is also having Dual-SIM and Dual-Standby functionalities, and it was introduced way back in June 2010. The SIM cards arrangement in this phone is different from other standard phones in that you can fix one SIM card internally beneath the battery, and the second SIM card can be accessed easily via a slot in the side, so that you don’t need to disassemble the phone or switch the phone off to change SIM cards.
The Nokia C2-00 powered by the Series 40 operating system, sporting a 1.8 inches screen with 128 x 160 pixel of resolution, and it is having an Easy Swap feature allowing you to hot-swap one of the SIM cards, equipped with a VGA camera with 5x digital zoom on the back side, web browser, Nokia Messaging functionality, and MMS functionality, The C2-00 supports external storage of up to 32GB memory expansion with the help of micro-SD card slot, and Ovi Life Tools – which will provide news, market prices, entertainment, health advice and education services.
This phone can also remember the settings for up to five SIM cards and work in dual-standby mode, allowing both cards to stay active at all times, and it has got Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and it can give talk-time of up to 5.76 hours, and standby time of up to 460 hours with help of its BL-5C battery.
