Samsung Intercept offers full integration of social networking apps, Microsoft Outlook Exchange e-mail and advanced messaging capabilities. This is not a GSM phone, it will not work on any GSM network worldwide. Sammy has gone this time with an EV-DO Rev. 0 (as opposed to Rev. A) which means you’ll be getting along with slower data speeds than you’d expect from your average modern CDMA smartphone.
Price & Availability
The Samsung Intercept will be available with in the next few weeks in mid-October for an affordable pricing at $249 prepay, paired with Virgin Mobile’s contract free Beyond Talk service options at $25, $40 and $60 a month.
Samsung Intercept was released in July, this year and it is available for $100 on contract after rebate via Sprint carriers.
