The wait is over for the T-Mobile customers and the HTC fanatics. The carrier has officially announced that the new HTC Sensation 4G smartphone with some ‘sensational’ specs will be available to purchase at Walmart stores from June 12th, and June 15th at T-Mobile stores exclusively. All the rumors became untrue about the June 8th relase date of this handset.
HTC Sensation 4G comes pre-installed with some exclusive applications – HTC Watch movie app, T-Mobile TV App which brings on-demand TV and full episodes of popular shows, Qik video chat, Slacker Radio app, an improved weather app and HTC Listen app which brings the access of millions of songs through a VIP pass.
All wrapped up in a beautiful unibody aluminum case, the HTC Sensation is running with a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 4.3-inch qHD display with 540 x 960 pixel, an 8 megapixel rear camera with 1080p HD video recording, and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. It comes pre-installed with the latest Android 2.3 along flavored with the new HTC Sense 3.0 experience (first Android smartphone to come with HTC Sense 3), boosted by 768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and an 8GB micro-SD card with a scope of memory expansion up to 32GB, HDMI-out, DLNA capability, Android Market, powered by 1520mAh battery and it supports HSPA+ in the 1700MHz AWS frequency band that gives the download rates as fast as 14.4 Mbps.

HTC Sensation 4G is expected to get the bootloader unlock feature through a software update. T-Mobile’s HTC Sensation 4G will cost $199.99 on a two-year contract after a $50 main-in-rebate with the carrier and it is also set to go for sale at Target stores on the same day, June 12th.
